A resident student attending in-state, non-OCC, institution is eligible for up to $1,500 per semester for a total of $6,000. (If the awarded Pell Grant dollars exceed $1,500 no Promise Zone money will be awarded. Pell grant dollars awarded in a given semester will be subtracted from that $1,500. Ex: if student receives $1,000 in Pell Grant, the Promise Zone will pay $500.)
Below are the documents you need (a computer screenshot of your documents) to request your Promise Zone (PZ) scholarship at any NON-OCC school.

Once you send these documents, the Promise Zone Executive Director will respond with the exact dollar amount that will be mailed, in the form of a check, to your college or university.
If you wish to use PZ funds, your school must be located within the state of Michigan. Your FAFSA must be successfully completed and processed by your college or university.

Failing to submit a waiver form can result in deregistration from classes and the Promise Zone won't be able to do anything until we receive your signed waiver form
